La mia tesi: talvolta l'impressione su chi abbia sculato nella battle, è deformata in base a quale dei due giocatori si lamenta di venire sculato o in base a chi scula più tardi, dal momento che le sculate iniziali vengono dimenticate o non sembrano cruciali perché avvengono mentre la situazione è ancora molto aperta.
Ho sostenuto molte volte, nella mia carriera, che una delle più importanti capacità di un giocatore di pokèmon debba essere la capacità di rimanere indifferente all'hax e alle provocazioni. Lo stesso vale nella vita. Le emozioni ci offuscano il pensiero e ci impediscono di vedere correttamente le cose.

ora pensi sia possibile parlare di cosa sarebbe successo se fosse/non fosse successo qualcosa rispetto a ciò che è scritto nel log e che sia utile alla community discuterne? io dico di no, ti dico che la battle l'hai portata avanti meglio tu ma che ti ha anche aiutato abbastanza il fattore ano a partire dall'early freeze su chansey, è inutile fare topic come questi perchè secondo te ora cosa dovrebbe risponderti zexion rofl...
se invece vuoi parlare delle robe ipotetiche ci sono troppe variabili sia dalla tua che dalla sua parte e non ha senso farlo, se ti riferisci al suo freeze di chansey (unica cosa veramente significativa oltre ai non paralyze ma sui secondi c'è da ridire), beh tu l'hai fatto 24 turni prima......non vedo cosa ci sia di male nel dire che hai avuto anche fortuna........evitiamo discussioni inutili figlioli... -

Non è la battle in sé, parlavo di un problema generale sulla percezione del venire sculati.
Vincere la freeze war chansey vs chansey è quasi sempre una cosa che piega enormemente l'esito della battle, ma non è una cosa di cui ci si può lamentare perché è un coinflip. È stato importantissimo, ma non è culo, perché la probabilità è 50% per entrambi.
Ripeto, di questa battle non me ne importa nulla. Ma mi ha molto sorpreso vedere che si ritenesse me come quello che ha sculato. Abbiamo avuto "fortuna" entrambi, ma non si può dire che l'hax abbia avuto un gran peso nel risultato.
E, ancora una volta, non sto parlando di questa battle, ma di un fenomeno comune in cui la gente incolpa l'hax.
Non cerco una risposta da Zexion, perchè non sto parlando di questa battle, ma è solo un esempio.. -

Bekins "purtroppo" abbiamo una memoria selettiva e ci rimangono più impressi gli episodi negativi di quelli positivi, anche e sopratutto in un gioco. Mi è capitato spesso di rileggere log in cui ero convinto di aver vinto nonostante l'enorme fortuna del mio avversario, per poi rendermi conto che non ero stato haxato così tanto quanto pensassi. C'è da considerare che poi in una battle se si viene sculati all'inizio, ogni volta che la fortuna ci sorride nel seguito della battle si sente quasi come una cosa dovuta e quindi non la si considera o la si rimuove istintivamente (nel tuo log, Zexy si sente quasi in diritto di avere il beneficio del freeze nel finale di battle).
Ora è impossibile parlare degli scenari "e se": sono troppi e non è una strada utile per migliorare il proprio gioco. Quello che è importante e che tu sottolinei è che non si deve essere accecati dalla buona sorte avversaria: la partita è lunga, la ruota può girare, c'è sempre un modo per ribaltare la battle, l'importante è giocare al meglio fino alla fine. Più che altro c'è da chiedersi se in alcuni casi in cui si è stati haxati valesse la pena prendersi determinati rischi. Nello specifico, mi permetto di criticare Zexy nell'accettare la freeze war tra le Chansey: del team avversario si conosce solo Jynx che mette in crisi Lapras ed Eggy, magari ci sono pure Starmie/Lapras/Slowbro, è troppo importante preservare quella Chansey e non esporla alle ice moves. Mi permetto di fare a Zexy una critica un po' più generale, perché più di una volta se la prende con l'hax in partite in cui avrebbe forse potuto prendere decisioni migliori (tipo quella della POWC contro Bedschibaer, se ricordo bene). Cioè Zexy sei già assai bravo, ma se rifletti un po' di più sui rischi che prendi e mantieni la calma quando vieni haxato, puoi rendere parecchio di più
Poi non dimentichiamoci che questo è RBY ed è la generazione in cui l'hax incide di più, ma vuol dire anche che oscilla di più. Marco l'ha sottolineato nella sua guida, bisogna giocare tenendone conto, fare la scelta con maggiore probabilità di successo di volta in volta e alla fine l'influenza dell'hax sarà molto ridotta. Poi ci sta che la partita si decida così, è un gioco con una componente non nulla di fortuna, quindi va accettato, però secondo me l'unica cosa peggiore del perdere una partita per hax è perdere una partita in cui sono stato haxato e che avrei potuto invece vincere giocando meglio.. -

Sul fatto che RBY sia il meta dove l'hax conta di più non sarei troppo sicuro. In RSE se becchi un'haxata su un pokemon chiave (e in RSE a volte ci sono tanti pokemon chiave in un team lol) hai perso immediatamente, mentre in RBY trovo che chi pianifica tutto bene vince molto spesso.
Piuttosto trovo che molti pianifichino le cose troppo poco o quasi per niente, rimanendo ancora ancorati all'idea di basarsi sulle predict istintive, che sono parte del gioco ma una parte a mio avviso meno fondamentale. Più vado avanti e più dettagliatamente invece mi sto dedicando al pianificare le cose di una battle, da un certo punto in poi, in maniera da avere una chiara strategia, precisa turno per turno, su come arrivare alla vittoria. Questo è il motivo per cui spesso mi fermo per pensare tantissimo (e a volte se qualcosa va storto mi rimane poco tempo alla fine e faccio qualche errore lol). Sto migliorando in questa cosa, e intendo arrivare ad essere in grado di vagliare le situazioni in modo più rapido e ancora più dettagliatamente e più a lungo nel tempo, evitando i problemi del time. Naturalmente c'è da tenere in conto le varie mosse più sensate che l'avversario possa fare in ognuno dei turni e di solito, se me lo posso permettere, provo a tenere in conto che l'avversario faccia sempre la mossa migliore (cioè peggiore per me) e cerco il modo di vincere lo stesso.
Non tutti la pensano come me su questo, ed è lecito. Ma comunque sul fatto che bisogna pianificare le cose, che sia più o meno nel dettaglio, non penso di trovare qualcuno contrario.
A volte vedo che gli avversari non si accorgono di avere già perso, perché le fasi incerte del mio piano sono andate pienamente in porto (e manca solo l'attuazione pressoché inevitabile) e pensano di essere ancora in gioco. Solo in pochi mi hanno dato l'impressione di giocarci ad un livello in cui entrambi capiamo più o meno il piano dell'avversario e le mosse sono tese a contrastarlo. Il livello più alto di mindgame credo di averlo raggiunto con Seymour in RSE: forse l'unico giocatore contro cui ho pensato che non ci potesse essere un layer di mindgame così alto che lui non potesse contropredictarmi (tranne in alcune mosse psicologiche e non matematiche) e di conseguenza non sapevo mai che cavolo fare e dovevo ragionare in altri modi, o sfruttando dei suoi schemi o pensando come fa Gf, cioè a cosa mi conviene di più azzeccare, o a cosa posso permettermi di più di non azzeccare.
Per esempio nella battle contro Zex, al turno 24 avevo capito di avere realisticamente la vittoria in pugno, al turno 27 ne ero quasi sicuro e avevo tutto il piano in mente, al turno 35 una sua predict inaspettata ha cambiato le carte in tavola: ero ancora in vantaggio ma le probabilità sue di vittoria, in caso di alcuni eventi fortunosi erano diventate realistiche. Il piano è cambiato leggermente, ma ho vinto alla fine perché gli serviva svegliarsi in tempo con il Tbolt di Lapras e fare dopo un crit con Tauros per vincere.. -

Sì mi sono espresso male sull'incidenza dell'hax, nel senso che in RBY per le meccaniche di gioco (niente defrost) e di metagame (para spam, special drops, crits), la presenza dell'hax è molto più diffusa in una battle rispetto alle altre generazioni. Ma proprio perché è così diffusa la ruota può girare quindi può non essere decisiva o bilanciarsi, mentre come dici giustamente tu in altre generazioni spesso un colpo di hax è decisivo: Drumlax/Marowak che crittano o paraflinchano Skarmory in GSC, in RSE (non sono molto esperto) mi pare che la threat list sia impossibile da coprire, quindi immagino cosa voglia dire perdere un singolo pokémon in modo imprevisto per gli equilibri del team.
Sul piano di battaglia sono d'accordo e ultimamente anche io personalmente sono migliorato molto in quello. All'inizio le mie partite si focalizzavano su tanti mirror match: Exeggutor vs Exeggutor a colpi di drops o Explosion, freeze wars tra Chansey, Snorlax/Tauros ditto; alla fine si trattava di vincere il coin flip in questione. Invece ora noto quanto sia importante considerare quali pokémon da ambo le parti siano in grado di sweepare e sotto quali condizioni, quali sono gli scambi e i sacrifici che mi convengono e solo a quel punto intervengono le dovute predicts -se necessarie- per portarmi nella situazione desiderata.. -

Guarda io non rispondo che è meglio. Quantitativamente hai ricevuto molti più chs' n stuff UTILI. E dio santo amplia un pò più i casi in esempio. Non puoi giudicare da un match solo. Hai un cazzo di CH/stuff rate altissimo IN OGNI FOTTUTA BATTLE CHE FAI. Non so se hai venduto la tua anima al diavolo o cosa ma non è umanamente concepibile. Con questo, smetto di postare qui altrimenti rovinerei il "rapporto" che si è creato in anni di conoscenza, ciao . -
