Tyranitar (Dragon Dance - rock slide - earthquake - focus punch) focus punch per breloom principalmente, ma allo stesso tempo mantiene più o meno il countering di curselax sball costringendolo a indovinare se userò fpunch o ddance

ricordo vividamente il giorno in cui ebbi in regalo game boy pocket + pokémon blu + pokémon rosso (ebbene sì... entrambe le cartucce). iniziai con pokémon rosso scegliendo bulbasaur. fu un pomeriggio molto intenso, avevo scelto bulbasaur perché semplicemente mi piaceva di più l'idea di avere un pokémon d'erba e quello in particolare mi piaceva molto. non sapevo quasi nulla del gioco, sapevo solo vagamente la type matching chart (cose del tipo acqua batte fuoco etc). arrivai da brock con bulbasaur e una schiera di notevoli alleati: un prode caterpie, un metapod non evoluto con solo rafforzatore, e un pidgey cazzutissimo. notai che ancora non ero al livello necessario per affrontare brock, il mio bulbasaur non conosceva ancora nessuna mossa di tipo erba con cui sconfiggere geodude e onix! allora mi misi a grindare fino a che il mio pokémon non apprese la mossa che pensavo di desiderare: PARASSISEME. "oh sì, con questa batterò sicuramente brock, è una mossa di tipo erba."

perdo ogni speranza, ma decido di andare avanti. caterpie si arrende allo strapotere fisico di onix. nemmeno pidgey può nulla.
resta tutto nelle mani di metapod.
onix picchia duro, ma metapod usa rafforzatore. onix si desteggia con LIMITAZIONE, ma metapod usa rafforzatore. onix tenta di scalfirlo, ma metapod usa rafforzatore. la difesa di metapod sale, sale fino alle stelle. nemmeno onix può più nulla contro il rafforzatore di metapod unito a PARASSISEME del compianto bulbasaur. onix prova con STRIDIO, ma è ormai troppo tardi. i danni del bestione sono paragonabili alla salute recuperata dall'eroico metapod grazie ai semi.
onix cade al suolo esausto.

Ciao a tutti, e benvenuti nella mia nuova rubrica: Storie di NBF. Di tanto in tanto intervisterò alcuni membri del Netbattle Forum che hanno fatto la storia e sono con noi da tanto tempo, cercando di scoprire qualcosa di nuovo su di loro e sul loro rapporto con il Forum stesso. Scopriremo le loro opinioni sui temi più discussi nella community, ma anche storie più personali, in modo da scoprire lati nuovi delle persone che, insieme a tutti noi, formano la nostra comunità.

Tutti noi conosciamo Abry come amministratore del Netbattle Forum, ma pochi sanno chi si celi dietro quest'identità di paciere e organizzatore di tornei: chi è Abry, cosa fa Abry, quali sono le sue passioni, quali i suoi sogni?
Abry studia la lingua dei segni, ha una vita sociale di altissimo livello e nerda al pc con varia roba, excel in primis. Viene dal liceo scientifico, dopo esser nato in India, cresciuto a Milano e trasferito a Roma. Mentre mi formo per avere un lavoro (interprete appunto), faccio del mio meglio per mettermi al servizio della comunità, scout, parrocchiale e ovviamente anche web (nbf any1?).
Torniamo adesso alla prima persona e seconda persona, ti ho fatto alienare a sufficienza! Svelaci una curiosità: da dove viene il tuo nickname?
Ei furono i gloriosi anni delle scuole medie, durante le quali ognuno in classe ne aveva uno, chi più bello chi meno... ad un certo punto a quanto pareva io ero Abry. E da qui l'accesso all'altrettanto glorioso msn con il semplicissimo indirizzo abry_3s0ldl e l'accesso a Forumfree, sull'IRF forum.
Poi non mi ricordo esattamente come, ma là ho conosciuto tale cicciolaraza69, che i lettori più anziani conoscono come Fra. Poi il resto lo conoscete, dalla Trainer Island, al NBK, al NBF.
Parliamo un po' del Forum, adesso. In che modo ti sei trovato ad essere parte dello Staff del forum? Inoltre, sapendo che sei stato qui sin dagli inizi, cosa pensi abbia contribuito maggiormente alla crescita del forum?
Ai tempi si era sul glorioso (ho già detto glorioso in questa intervista?) NetBattle, il simulatore vero; magari non c'erano le ClanWars come oggi (anche perchè esisteva solo la causa di tutti i mali, l'Orpo), ma le Server War erano all'ordine del giorno. E allora c'era un utente dal nome friabile che aveva la possibilità di hostarne uno, magari che fosse supportato da una community. Dopo una serie di brainwash epici, spunta fuori NBF, con Abry terzo admin (e non primo come molti credono!). Alla crescita del foro ha contribuito la voglia e i sacrifici che sono stati fatti da più o meno chiunque sia stato admin (ricordo che fino a poco fa c'era la policy "admin o niente", mentre ora ci sono admins, gmods e supporters). Oltre a questo, i vari flames e ForumWar han contribuito a alzare l'hype nei confronti della Community, non necessariamente in modo positivo s'intende."Faccio del mio meglio per mettermi al servizio della comunità"
E Porygon? Com'è diventato il simbolo della community?
Porygon era nel logo di NetBattle (simulatore) e anche nel logo del NBK. Poi con il passare del tempo le skins sono diventate pluritematiche, non solo Porygon-based.
Come hai fatto a rimanere legato al Netbattle Forum così a lungo e dare il tuo apporto costantemente nel corso degli anni? Quali sono gli aspetti che preferisci del ruolo che ricopri, che ti permettono di rimanere coinvolto?
Da un certo pov, NBF è nato quando "sono nato" anche io, quindi è ovvio. Poi, riguardo al rimanerci legato concorrono diversi fattori: non ho avuto nulla da fare nella vita per parecchio (la scuola è overrated), forse le cose venivano organizzate in maniera troppo complessa e quindi non c'era nessuno che ci si buttava a capirle... Il ruolo di Admin boh, mi son sempre limitato a fare tornei e sistemare le grafiche, e flammare con gli haters. Non sono la figura dell'Admin perfetto, anzi! Il timore che questa creatura possa smettere di far divertire come in passato ha fatto divertire me, è il motivo principale per cui non ho mai quittato, ma ho sempre cercato di "istruire" altri. I vari topics in staff sul 'come fare le cose' stanno servendo, si vede dai vari tours che stan venendo organizzati non solo da me.
Uno sguardo al futuro: cosa pensi della stagione appena iniziata sull'NBF?
Il desiderio che il prossimo gruppetto di Admins non mi comprenda è altissimo! Stan tutti imparando, qualcuno più lentamoonte (non è un typo). Mi devo ancora abituare a questa situazione di transizione, son abituato ancora che l'unica risposta che ricevo è quella dell'altro admin e mi dimentico dei duemila staffers del momento. Questa cosa dei Nazionali seedati e con qualificazione alla fase finale gratuita per chi ne ha tanti è interessante ma contro ogni tradizione, che sfida!"Il timore è che questa creatura possa smettere di far divertire come in passato ha fatto divertire me"
Quali sono le tre cose che preferisci del Forum? Quali invece le tre che cambieresti?
Good: no money involved; gente cool che a parte strani casi fa piacere avere intorno e far divertire, forumfree è abb personalizzabile ma cambia spesso.
Bad: come ti muovi pesti una merda, qualunque cosa si faccia va male e suscita polemica; se poco poco fai le cose in maniera completamente neutrale vieni additato come macchina insensibile; no more ForumWars (no).
Qual è il tuo momento preferito di tutta la tua storia sul forum, e quale quello che vorresti dimenticare?
Momento preferito forse i primi nazionali che al tempo non avevamo le palle per definirli tali, peggiori tutti quelli in cui si aspettava una mia decisione riguardo a cheattate varie o altro, come se fossi il presidente di stocà.
