Mean Look trappa un Pokémon, lasciando a Perish Song tre turni per agire; due di questi vanno occupati ripetendo Protect, o utilizzando Taunt per prevenire lo Shuffling o i power up avversari. Poiché molti Taunter e shuffler comuni (Gyarados, Skarmory, Suicune...) sono deboli ad Electric, usare Thunder al posto di Taunt č comunque un'opzione. Destiny Bond assicura che eliminiate un Pokémon piů lento dopo averlo trappato, ad esempio Shadow Ball Snorlax.
Other options
Pain Split č in grado di ristorare gli HP anche nella Sandstorm; Thunder Wave permette di paralizzare Metagross, Tyranitar, o altri Pokémon che switchano impunemente su Misdreavus. Shadow Ball STABbata colpisce gli special Wall in UU, tier in cui č usabile un set Calm Minder.
Counters
La maggior parte degli Attacker fisici, specialmente se Choice Bandati, si sbarazzano di Misdreavus in breve tempo; attenzione alla possibilitŕ di paralisi di Thunder. I Pursuiter possono eliminare una Misdreavus in fuga. Un Pokémon sufficientemente veloce che entra sul Mean Look puň frenare le intenzioni di Misdreavus usando Taunt o Encore.
