.Come sapete ho 2-1ato Gf nella supersfida bo3 rby,gsc,rse. In GSC è stata una poltiglia, con suo hax iniziale e poi mio crit di ohko su Raikou, che lo ha portato a forfettare perché avevo Vaporeon. La RSE la vince 6-0 con un bpass team. La rby è l'unica combattuta.

La mia strategia in RBY è stata scegliere il team, tra quelli ben protetti contro i wrapper, che vince di più nei testing. Allo stesso tempo mi sono messo la regola di non usare electric e wrapper, per evitare di incorrere in matchup strani o di rischiare di perderla per fattori sconnessi dall'abilità. Ero infatti convinto di poterla vincere giocandola pulita. Qui Gf parte con Gengar come me, e la cosa mi preoccupa abbastanza, perché temo che lui voglia far fuori il mio Gengar con Psychic per poi usare i wrapper. Anche io ho psychic, ma pensandoci preferisco hypnosis perché è quella che mi para di più dall'essere killato. In caso di miss switcherei. Mah, qui ovviamente c'erano varie scelte: dal tentare il ch, ad esplodere per metterlo in range di Tauros, allo switchare su Exeggutor. Exeggutor è qualcuno che in realtà mi sarei voluto tenere ancora per un po', quindi le mie opzioni erano le prime due. Avendo lasciato Slowbro dentro fino alla fine mi ha dato la sensazione di avere Psychic, che è l'unica che ohkoa Gengar (Surf ha solo il 28% circa di probabilità). Di conseguenza usare Thunderbolt, sebbene grandioso in caso di ch, sarebbe una mossa terribile in caso di non-ch e non così entusiasmante in caso di suo switch a Gengar. Explosion è ovviamente buono nel caso resti, molto buono nel caso di ch, e pessimo nel caso di switch a Gengar. Da parte sua le mosse sono plausibili entrambe, ma trattandosi di Gf ritengo più probabile che rimanga dentro perché Gf è una di quelle persone che odia essere punito per la codardia. Preferisce essere punito per il coraggio. C'è chi avrebbe mandato Exeggutor, la qual cosa sembra molto safe perché si trova bene sia in caso di switch a Gengar che in caso di attacco di Slowbro, ma in fin dei conti gutor deve comunque esplodere ad un certo punto. E inoltre è più utile di Gengar e ha meno ch rate. Io penso che lui lascerà Slowbro, perché Gengar si troverebbe male anche in caso di switch a gutor. Anche se poco rilevante, è comunque parzialmente rilevante per lui.

Gf ha sicuramente scelto apposta un team con counterlax perché evidentemente è convinto che non conosco le meccaniche di RBY oppure che ho la testa fra le nuvole (il che può anche essere vero talvolta). Qui decido di rimanere perché facendomi due calcoli ho bisogno di non perdere dei pezzi. Mi conviene avere Tauros mezzo morto e Snorlax/Exeggutor interi, piuttosto che Tauros vivo e uno di loro due morto, se consideriamo che il suo team senza Snorlax ha solo Tauros che mi impedisce di sweepparlo. E Tauros, vi dirò, verrà fatto fuori da una delle mie Explosion. Uso Earthquake perché lo mette comunque nel range che mi serve e non rischio l'ohko di counter. Qui ora che ci penso sarebbe stato plausibile anche uno switch su Alakazam. Nel caso di Counter, mi sarei accontentato di mandare il mio lax.

Guardate però qui. A prima vista, io ho una entrata gratuita per Tauros, il quale ohkoa qualsiasi suo switch, tranne Tauros. Contro la maggior parte dei giocatori qui avrei colto la ghiotta occasione, che avrebbe significato un vantaggio grosso guadagnato. Tuttavia ho dovuto tenere a freno la voglia di prendere il vantaggio, realizzando che uno come Gf non può assolutamente non accorgersi di questo. Di conseguenza la mossa migliore per Gf è sicuramente lo switch a Tauros. E io posso predictarlo con Exeggutor, il quale tra l'altro 2hkoa Slowbro con Psychic.

Ho scelto un team con Slowbro perché ero certo che gli avrebbe chiavato il team, perché Bekins è un fag che usa i Rock perché ha paura degli Electric, ed in effetti Slowbro gli chiavava il team anche se stava senza Rock. In generale molte scelte nell'endgame erano meno ovvie di quanto Bekins le faccia passare ed il turno più importante è stato il turno 1 (turno 4 del fake log pilotato) perché ha vinto l'Hypnosis spd tie ed è rimasto con Gengar che era tremendamente importante vs Slowbro (se avesse perso Exeggutor le avrebbe prese da Tauros). Ho avuto un midgame più forte ed un endgame molto più debole, però erano davvero molto più predict che scelte obbligate (turno 41 HBeam o BSlam, turno 39 ho valutato a lungo di mettere Exe, e non Tauros). In generale non mi aspettavo questo livello di predict perché ero rimasto ad un Bekins abbastanza scarso in RBY, ma sono contento di averla persa perché ha giocato decisamente bene.
La GSC è stata ridicola, la RSE sapevamo benissimo come sarebbe finita già prima che cominciasse. -

Comunque il motivo per cui gente come te e Marco viene sculata e piange, mentre quelli come me e Zexion sculano e ridono è già ben visibile dal vostro modo di parlare, voi li chiamate "pezzi", noi li chiamiamo "amici" e ci fidiamo di loro, con ottimi risultati.

veramente una battle molto bella, ero a tatuarmi e me la son persa in diretta, grandi spiegazioni dei mindgame....molti son dettati dal fatto che conosci bene gf e questo ti ha dato senza dubbio un gran vantaggio . -

Molte mie mosse che "sembrano" ovvie nei momenti endgame sono davvero mosse dettate dall'intenzione di provare a chiuderla di forza bruta usando il "vantaggio numerico" combinato alle Explosion; questo cambio di marcia è dovuto al fatto che stavo soffrendo troppo gli switchback e stavo "rispettando" troppo il tuo tauros a 9%, che mi faceva una pressure gigantesca anche non entrando in campo. RBY lo vedo come una sorta di carta-forbice-sasso tra switch safe-switchback-attacco ed è necessario mantenersi imprevedibili solo con questi tre fattori per generare pressure offensiva in questa bella gen (gen successive mettono a disposizione anche empty bpass, uturn e volt switch come strumenti per mantenere la pressure). Quindi in un certo senso quelle mosse più ovvie a fine gara erano il mio tentativo di rispondere carta (safe switch) ai tuoi lanci precedenti di sasso (attacco); ma l'hai intuito ed hai preso a lanciare forbice (switchback), ed in effetti non è una cosa poi troppo nuova che tu mantenga ottima pressione offensiva in tutte le gen (tra gli italiani meglio di te forse solo Carlo e Shar) una volta che hai creato le condizioni (per confronto, la mia offensive pressure invece temo sia la parte di come gioco che lascia più a desiderare, perché mi rendo conto di non persistere quando ho le read). Di solito sono però più che decente a uscire dalla offensive pressure avversaria tirando le layer 2 (che sono il naturale counter degli switchback), il problema è che quando la pressione è così serrata e sei in un endgame perdi coraggio e diventi prevedibile, e questo è proprio quel che vuole chi la pressione te la applica. Quindi questo è quello che sono mosse finali che sembrano ovvie: l'effetto indotto dalla pressione serrata. Anche conosciuto con il nome di cacarella.
Tenere Slowbro sulla Explosion di Gengar invece ha un senso differente. Quella voleva essere la mia solita safe decision del cavolo per cui se Gengar non esplode il tuo team muore, se anche Gengar esplode (che davo come ipotesi assolutamente più probabile!) Slowbro non muore, e quindi delineo come lo potrò sicuramente recuperare sfruttando le numerose paralisi che ti infliggerò, Rest se ne hai, il tuo Exeggutor dopo che ha fatto un kill (e se esplode per evitare il setup di Slowbro, tanto meglio per Tauros). Invece sei stato molto attento ad evitare che si presentassero tutte quelle situazioni e Slowbro è stato come se fosse morto per il resto della partita, con io che me lo tenevo dietro convinto fino alla fine che prima o poi a recuperarlo su un tuo errore ci sarei riuscito, quando invece avrei dovuto fare come si fa con le carte quando vedi che quella buona non arriva - cambiare gioco.

Sì, ok, tutto giusto... ma quello slowbro dovevi tirarlo in mezzo, decisamente. Ci sono stati molti turni in cui poteva entrare ad usare rest divenendo un pericolo, ed avevi diversa spazzatura da sacrificare (verso mid-late game, tutto ciò che non ferma Tauros/lo sweeper avversario e non recovera è spazzatura).
Sicuramente, ti è mancato il poter mettere il suo Exeggutor in range di Tauros.. -

Il mio tempo medio per mossa è letteralmente tre secondi. Penso molto in fretta. Il tempo medio per mossa di Bekins si aggira attorno ai tre minuti. Sì, ok, tutto giusto... ma quello slowbro dovevi tirarlo in mezzo, decisamente. Sicuramente un'apertura Bekins me l'ha lasciata; l'occasione per Slowbro era il turno 43. Ma al turno 43 ero già in fase di choking avanzata.. -

Per me ce ne sono state altre precedentemente... non ho il replay tra le mani, ma ricordo vagamente che non hai usato affatto Chansey (è rimasta paralizzata in range di HB di Tauros, che gli hai fatto prendere proprio nei denti).
Era proprio Chansey che doveva opporsi ad Egg recoverando, per poi costringere la Chansey di Bek ad entrare (e lì non avevi più Snorlax, che hai usato in modo piuttosto discutibile).
Al di là di questo Bekins ha giocato come si deve, sotto i miei allenamenti è diventato temibbile (ed ha sviluppato a mie spese la sua tecnica di indebolimento psicologico dei tre minuti a mossa
)

E' vero, Chansey l'ho buttata, indipendentemente dal fatto che tentasse BSlam invece di HBeam lì era da mandare dentro Tauros. Non usando mai Chansey spesso non penso nemmeno a come sia rilevante per baitare le Explosion. .
