E’ un 5-4, ma non sono nettamente in vantaggio (a meno che il suo ultimo sia un electric, ma non sarà così).

Mandare Chansey è stata una scelta saggia; Lapras viene rivelata ed uso Thunderbolt visto che Snorlax è ancora in giro, e pensavo sarebbe entrato. Le cose contro Lapras non vanno male, ma Snorlax entra e devo decidere se mandare Golem o Snorlax. La scelta ricade sul primo, ma in ogni caso Chansey non paralizzata mi farà filo da trocere.

Giustamente entra Snorlax. Mando Exeggutor a detonare. Lui prova a pescare un FP (Snorlax al 44% mi avrebbe praticamente costretto a mandare il mio Snorlax), tuttavia avrebbe anche potuto mandare Lapras (paralizzata e non sleepabile) a prendere il colpo: non credo avrei avuto motivi per usare Psychic.

Le cose continuano ad andare bene contro Lapras (che una volta paralizzata è molto più gestibile): in compenso Chansey è a 66%,paralizzata e confusa, il che vuol dire che Tauros potrebbe tranquillamente usare un po’ tutte le sue mosse tranne Blizzard.
Questo è il punto di forza di Lapras: se non riesce a passare sopra ai suoi counter, di solito li mette almeno con le spalle contro il muro.
A logica, potrebbe usare EQ e quindi mandare Golem sarebbe pericoloso rischiando un crit in due turni. Potrei mandare Snorlax, che non è particolarmente incisivo contro Tauros e Chansey non paralizzati.
La mia decisione è di switchare se predicto Hyper Beam, o di rimanere dentro contro Slam/EQ: non credo usi Hyper Beam.
Chansey potrebbe essere salvata anche in seguito immolando Snorlax (che appunto, rischia di non portare nulla a casa, mentre Chansey vince contro la sua). Diciamo che secondo me quei 35% HP di Chansey sono spendibili e provo Thunder Wave. Se Thunder Wave va a segno (33%), euristicamente, la partita è finita (salvando la mia Chansey che vince contro la sua). Altrimenti vediamo.

Le cose con Chansey non solo non vanno bene: vanno proprio male. Mando Snorlax e creo un’occasione per scoppiare con Golem. Se lui sapesse che il mio Snorlax non ha Selfdestruct, dovrebbe mandare Tauros per provare a vincere con Chansey non paralizzata; gli unici indizi che ha sono il Body Slam tirato in faccia ad Exeggutor al turno 11, e la conoscenza delle mie build. Io, comunque, non posso temporeggiare molto e scoppio.

Un disastro, anche perché Chansey è a 67%, il che vuol dire che Hyper Beam di Tauros è un roll: è leggermente in mio favore, ma subire Thunder Wave da Chansey vorrebbe dire passare un guaio (con il suo Tauros che può permettersi di entrare sul mio, finendo per lasciare la partita nelle mani di Snorlax).
Provo a setuppare con Snorlax, fargli finire i PP di Softboiled e danneggiare Tauros con i pochi PP che rimarrebbero (credo proprio che non avrei avuto i 4 PP necessari per il KO).
Devo evitare il freeze (che vorrebbe dire partita persa), la ricompensa è avere la vittoria in pugno grazie a quell’infame di Snorlax.

Finisce così: gran match, con molti spunti di riflessione. In questo log c’è il motivo per cui i rock hanno perso fascino, ed il motivo per cui quei team devono sputare immediatamente Thunder Wave o Stun Spore in faccia a Chansey dell’avversario.
Per un FP apparentemente insignificante (sull’unica occasione di tutto il match per paralizzare Chansey), con un colpo di RNG mi sono ritrovato a decidere tra rischiare un roll di Hyper Beam o rischiare un freeze (probabilmente scegliendo la via con possibilità peggiori). In una partita giocata molto bene, per il resto, e che quasi qualsiasi altro sesto slot avrebbe portato a casa.

Nel senso Tauros ditto lo doveva giocare in ogni caso prima o poi, questo era l'unico modo per alzare in suo favore il 50 e 50, perché Chansey vs Tauros ha la possiblità si spare due attacchi e più critici per vincere. Io avrei fatto lo stesso. . -

In quel momento il suo Tauros era rimasto in range di Hyper Beam, mentre il mio era a 70. Avessi crittato Chansey, probabilmente avrei vinto.
Lo svantaggio di mandare Chansey in mezzo in quel modo, è che rischi che l'opponent pigi Body Slam: ha senso farlo se vuoi usare Counter, e magari non hai Thunder Wave, toh. Soprattutto se l'opponent lo sa, e può usare liberamente EQ.
Ad ogni modo, come usare Golem? Premere il grilletto: fondamentalmente te la giochi sul fatto che l'opponent non se la senta di predictarti il botto visto il rischio di switchare su Earthquake (una volta che Exeggutor è stato ucciso), oppure colpendo Exeggutor con Explosion per ucciderlo- magari negando la possibilità di sleepare. Nel caso specifico, avevo visto che lui non aveva Zapdos ed avrei potuto scoppiarlo contro Chansey mentre usava Softboiled.
Anche se al momento sembrava un po' uno spreco (Lapras era paralizzata con danni, e solo Tauros lo minacciava seriamente), evidentemente non lo era.
Rimane il fatto che sono discorsi causati da un CH di Chansey.. -

67% va da 472 a 478 HP, il che vuol dire un buon 40% di non uccidere con Hyper Beam (senza contare CH e miss)... tutt'altro che comodo, semplicemente un po' meno peggiore di Snorlax: diciamo che speravo di avere delle occasioni migliori per mandare Tauros su Softboiled con Chansey in range (ad esempio con un CH), e l'unica occasione mi si è presentata mentre Snorlax era a 223 HP (Hyper Beam di Tauros ha decenti possibilità di seccarlo)- e quindi ho deciso di continuare a sfidare la sorte.
Il motivo per cui non hai lasciato dentro Chansey è interessante, non ricordavo di non aver rivelato il toro. Comunque contro Slowbro vuoi avere Chansey fuori; Tauros è migliore contro uno sleeper (ad esempio un Exeggutor, un Gengar...).. -

Dai commenti si nota che non si sapeva di Tauros, comunque Tauros secondo me aveva migliori possibilità con crit+par che di Chansey che non critta facilmente e aveva solo 3 Soft Boiled . -

Thunderbolt è quasi 2HKO, ed hai TWave. Non hai bisogno di Softboiled (in ogni caso, Chansey vince PP stallando solo se Slowbro non ha TWave- ed ha comunque bisogno di supporto: Psychic causa degli special drop e Surf ha 24 PP contro 16): cerchi di mandare Tauros su Rest, contro uno Slowbro con la speed da paralizzato.
Se Slowbro setuppa su Tauros, Chansey non può fare molto una volta che entra (5hko vs +2, figuriamoci se Body Slam non paralizza e lo trovi a +4), Tauros può anche chiudere con Hyper Beam.
